We are on a mission to produce a garment that honors its origins. It's a project founded on commitment to a fully localized and transparent supply chain in fashion, paying homage to the unique agricultural and textile heritage of our region,Upstate NY.
But the Local Wool Initiative is so much more than just sourcing locally - it's connecting everyone involved in the lifespan of a garment from the fiber farmers and their animals, to the artisans involved in textile and garment production, to the end-consumer who wears the finished piece. And it does so in a way that positively impacts the local economy through collaboration, preservation of skills, and mindful consumption. The result is beautiful garments that prioritize quality and craft, down to the very fiber.
